Best Women’s MMA Gloves – The Complete Guide

Generally, women’s hands are more delicate than men’s hands and simply need more protection. So, some companies made some outstanding products according to it. These are simply better for women and many females prefer these MMA gloves more than any other pair on the market. With that, I also checked out many forum posts, consulted amateur female MMA fighters on Twitter and came up with three great MMA gloves for women.

Note: All MMA gloves on this list have sizing information either on here or on product pages. Also, all of them have great fitting rates which are simply necessary for having good training performance and safety.

Without further ado let’s start with the overview of the best women’s MMA gloves

1. Everlast Pink Women’s Pro Style Training Gloves

best women MMA glovesProtection Rating: 9.6 / 10.0

Training Quality Rating: 9.2 / 10.0

Durability: 9.3 / 10.0

Quality / Price Rating: 9.5 / 10.0

Best Place to Buy: Amazon

Exclusive Features

  • Good wrist support and hand protection
  • Wicks moisture well
  • Lasts more than 2 years
  • Suitable for all training types
  • Suitable for light bag work
  • The most quality pair on the market
  • The most popular pair for women

Everlast uses more padding for this pair and it also has a bit more padding at the upper side. So why did Everlast do that?

This simply helps the sock to distribute more and protects your upper hand and knuckles better.

The velcro is longer than regular gloves’ velcro systems. It provides better wrist support and it also has more padding. So you can do light bag work with it. Speaking of training types, you can grapple quite well with it because the sides of the finger compartment are less padded than usual. This provides dexterity so you can show your dexterity to grappling dummy or your sparring parring partner 😉

This pair is suitable for light bag work and all other training types including sparring, double end bag etc. I also have seen many females in MMA gyms punch the focus mitts with Everlast.

I follow a myriad of MMA forums and according to trusted female members, the liner is soft and gets rid of moisture quite well. I also had read that members have been training with Everlast more than two years. Comparing to other gloves’ durability periods, Everlast simply gets A+ for it.

According to my researches, Everlast it the only company which gives 120 days money back guarantee for MMA gloves. However considering the quality and good price, I highly doubt that you will ever return it.

It is obvious that Everlast Pink’s Women Pro Style is the best women’s MMA gloves. If you are interested, check out the latest price on Amazon. As a final note, it has a great fitting rate and Everlast has an incredibly cheap price tag as well.

2. RDX MMA Gloves Women Grappling Martial Arts

overview of good women MMA glovesProtection Rating: 8.9 / 10.0

Training Quality Rating: 9.1 / 10.0

Durability: 8.4 / 10.0

Quality / Price Rating: 9.2 / 10.0

Exclusive Features

  • Sturdy Maya Hide leather
  • Snug fit
  • Good and dense padding
  • Wicks moisture quite well
  • Lasts 1-2 years

RDX uses Maya Hide leather for this pair and as you may know, it is nothing spectacular, however, it is still above average and you can easily expect to punch with it around 2 years.

The padding is dense and actually, it is not much. According to reviews, you may have soreness after the session but still, if you do light bag work, this won’t be an issue.

If you did not like Everlast because of some reason, then your best bet is to go with resilient RDX. After all, it has a great fitting rate and my trainers also recommend RDX MMA Women’s Gloves for MMA classes and he said that it gets great feedback.

Also, RDX uses D.cut design and I also have experience with another RDX pair which has the same design. It simply helps you have a better grip and feel natural when you make a punch.

It has a velcro closure and you can wear and take it off within seconds.

You can check out the sizing information and more pictures of RDX on Amazon.

3. MRX MMA Ladies Grappling Training Gloves

Protection Rating: 8.6 / 10.0

Training Quality Rating: 8.7 / 10.0

Durability: 8.5 / 10.0

Quality / Price Rating: 9.3 / 10.0

Exclusive Features

  • Suitable for all training types
  • Good wrist support
  • Open palm for better air regulation
  • It does the job

As you may have noticed above it has a different quality which is open palm. Obviously, your hand will be more relaxed with this pair. But normally pairs use leather to distribute the shock more. This facepalm feature can lower it and it may improve the risk of having soreness after a session. With that, if the design is good you don’t face this problem. Actually, I found really good reviews which basically say that they did not have any soreness after the session. So according to these good verified reviews, I decided to put MRX in this list.

The material quality is average and it is nothing spectacular. With that, you can use this MRX around 1-2 years. But after that, you can expect that the padding quality has a rapid decline.

It is shortly an all around above average pair which has a good quality-price ratio. It is obviously a good option for people who want to do MMA training sessions regularly.

  1. Very cool woman gloves. I have never thought about martial art before reading this article, lol. Thanks for introducing it to me.

  2. I am going to the Everlast, and possibly show some dexterity with it just like you said. I like the fact that I can use it for light bag work. So, it will come in handy for my workout.

  3. These women’s training gloves are really nice but I specifically like the Everlast Pink Gloves because other than the color which is very feminine I like it because it can lock in moisture. The problem I always have when working out is that I sweat easily that’s why I always use thick socks to absorb the moisture from my feet. So I think Everlast Pink gloves will work perfectly for me.

By the way, do they come in different sizes so they will really fit well? And are they washable with water and soap?

    1. I think it looks nice too 😉 It is quite good for wicking the moisture and yes you can wash this model in a washing machine. But if you think of getting another model check out the product description.

  4. I actually have a pair of the Everlast training gloves! First off I got them because they were pink, I also got them because my husband wanted a heavy weight punching bag to work out with. He was supposed to teach me how to use it and didn’t work out. But the gloves are nice gloves.

Wonderful review of the gloves though and if I did not have a pair yet and was interested in perusing MMA I would definitely use one of the three you suggested above!

    1. It is too bad that you could not use them for heavy bag sessions, well if you ever want to get back to training, any of these will do the job just fine 😉

  5. Great review. I have to say I agree with your pick. The padding is important and I like the style plus I am a fan of pink and to me the Everlast Pink’s Women Pro Style looks the best. Thanks for the info!

    1. The padding and design literally are the only important factors for MMA training and many people really like the looks of Everlast too.

  6. Hi Furkan, great reviews. I have to giggle when I think of women being tough enough to do these sports, yet still want “pink” on their gloves haha. Wonderful!

  7. I really love the PINK boxing gloves!! This is a great site! My son has done Martial Arts since he was 5 on and off. He is a Brown Belt and I am encouraging him to get his Black Belt! I am going to show him your site as well. Keep the info coming!

    1. In my opinion, the pink one looks feminine and awesome.

Well, I always like to see that more youngsters take martial arts training seriously and I hope he gets his black belt someday.

But the consistency is the key here as even though he is experienced he can forget things and may need to start over.

  8. I really loved the look of the pink Everlast gloves they are definitely my first choice, should I have to buy a pair. thank you for the awesome product information.

    1. Yeah, it looks awesome and it is feminine. Many females prefer that. I see that many women punch the mitts with that very pair.

  9. Love these options! Seems like the pink Everlast gloves are the popular choice. Although I see that they are the cheapest… should that be a concern or not so much?

    1. No, it should not be a concern as many female fighters reported that they train with it. Yeah, it is rather popular. The brand is well-known in the boxing industry but we also see this glove in many MMA gyms. However, don’t expect much as this is a pretty basic glove.
