This one is also reviewed as “comfy” and I also have experiences with another Hypnotic rash guard model, which is made of the same materials, during my MMA sparring sessions and I can say that the thermal regulating qualities do the job. I can easily give B+ for the comfort.

Hypnotic Rashguard can be worn during competitions and tournaments. If you are planning on competing, this one is definitely an option.

It uses 4-way stretch material and this basically helps fabric to stretch in every direction and it does these without being loose. I also know that many people prefer this design and also many MMA forum members religiously do sparring with it.

Verus Rash Guard Long Sleeve has a rubber band and it actually goes well with the tight shoulder compartment.

My Experiences: Alright, this is the second rash guard on this list which I have experiences with. I borrowed it from a guy who practices Muay Thai in an MMA gym in Samut Prakan, Thailand. With that, I did my grappling dummy sessions with it. First of all, I have the most sensitive skin in the world, however, I had rashes only 3 times during 6 months of period. Obviously, this was not the durability period of this rash guard because I had to go to another country. According to my research, you can use it a couple of years. Basically, it always stayed in place and I honestly think that this rash guard deserves more popularity!

If you are interested, you can click here to know more details and see other designs. In my opinion, “the beast” design looks awesome!

Why Should You Go with a Rash Guard which Has a Brand? As you may know, MMA and BJJ rash guards became insanely popular because we don’t want to feel any rashes during our sweaty sessions and many other shirt types can’t stay on you. With that we simply need them. So there are many rash guards on the market and you can see many of them without a brand. I had to train with two of them and even though I am not complaining about material quality these just did not stay on me and doing ground work with them on BJJ mats was just a nightmare. So considering my experiences you should avoid these. After all, the rash guards on this list are also in the same price range so you basically can’t save any money with them as well.

Final Thoughts

Even though these are affordable, these BJJ and MMA rash guards do the job just fine and according to my research and experiences, these tend to give you more than your money’s worth. With that, RVCA Men’s VA Rashguard just has the greatest quality-price ratio and let me remind you that it is made of the same material type of high-end rash guards! It also has good training performance feedbacks from many BJJ forums as well. If these are appealing to you, have a look at RVCA Men’s VA Rashguard on Amazon. Seriously considering the reviews and the popularity you just can’t go wrong with it.

I really hope that you enjoyed reading and honestly, you don’t need to break the bank while buying a rash guard. You can find a cheap BJJ and MMA rash guard which can do the job just fine. If you have any questions about any of these rash guards or anything at all just have a comment below.

  1. Thank you for a really interesting topic. Love saving money and ways to get quality goods at a good price. Been training Muay Thai for a time now, and the rashes are not uncommon, must get me one of these.

Machine washing training clothes is a must for me, is it only the RVCA Men’s VA Rashguard that can handle this at this price range?
