Everything You need to Know about Choosing Boxing and Martial Arts Gear…

New Boxing Gloves (The Hottest Releases!)

Well, every time I look at the catalogs of boxing companies, I tend to see at least a couple of new boxing gloves.New Boxing Gloves

However, will I buy them when I first see them? Hell no. I will wait for the first user votes and ask my buddies whether they know anything about them or not. And if my gym decides to buy one of the hot releases, I will train with them and see how it goes. But other than that as I said I will wait and I suggest everyone do the same. Otherwise, you can be hyped up because of a commercial and spend a lot of money for no reason.

I also know that many people wonder and want to know about these new pairs so I gathered the newest arrivals in this article.

Below, you can see the brief descriptions of them and if you want to know more I also provided links to in-depth reviews for people who are interested in buying these gloves.

Note: There are not many usable photos online because well these boxing gloves are new. So I could not include a lot of images in this particular writing. However, if you follow the links below you can see a lot of visuals.

Hayabusa T3

This Hayabusa’s brand new boxing gloves have been creating a buzz for a time. Even though Hayabusa has some decent pairs like Tokushu series when I heard that Hayabusa T3 will be the best pair of the brand, I was hyped.

After reading a couple of reviews and hearing the experiences of my trainer even though I have not used it, I know that my expectations will be met.

Seriously, it is my favorite pick in these latest arrivals and this is why I placed at the beginning of this writing.

If you are looking for a good training pair which has an amazing quality check out my Hayabusa T3 Boxing Gloves Review.

Yokkao Urban Muay Thai Boxing Gloves

There are many newly released Yokkao Boxing Gloves and these can be used for all training types as well.

Yokkao Urban Muay Thai is made in Thailand and it has a higher price tag than the other gloves, which are in the same class, like many Fairtex Boxing Gloves.

However, we still don’t know whether this pair of Muay Thai Boxing Gloves deserves the price or not. It is quite new and there has not been anyone who has practiced with this glove for a long time. So if you punched heavy bags, clinched enough with this glove and you can tell a thing or two, I really appreciate your comments as some people want to know more about it like I do.one of the newest pair of boxing gloves

After reading the materials and how hard the company worked, I really think that Yokkao may surprise many people with its good performance. Otherwise, I really don’t think the company can find many buyers with this high price tag.

With that being said, this glove has a flashy design and awesome colors.

Hawk Boxing Gloves

Hawk produces a lot of really cheap boxing gears and this glove is no exception. It has an awesome logo and the padding quantity is alright. The wrist closure also looks thick.

When you look at the glove, you can see that there are holes for breathability. Now that is quite common for cheap boxing gloves as they generally don’t provide enough air circulation.

And the weird thing is that Hawk Boxing Gloves has a one year warranty. Yes, you read it right. Boxing gloves have a warranty. Well, I heard this the first time too.

Banglapee_Sport Fairtex Pro Competition

Have you been in Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Thailand recently? Well, if you run into visa issues like my friends, you may not have visited the country recently. But I started seeing this glove in Muay Thai tournaments a lot.

Banglapeed_Sport is lace-up style boxing gloves and produced exclusively for competitions so you will be punching only your opponent and nothing else. It has every required quality to enter tournaments.

This glove is used in many competitions all around the world and it looks like it will be one of the most popular Muay Thai Boxing Gloves in the future.

Fairtex preferred the signature design for this pair. Banglapeed_Sport also has a classic rectangular shape as other Fairtex Boxing Gloves.

Fuxin Cyclone Style

This glove’s shape and padding look just like Top King Muay Thai Boxing Gloves. If I did not know that this is another glove, when I looked at the shape of finger compartment and overall design, I would have said that it is Top King. Of course, I can’t say that it is the exact copy of it. But I need to admit that these two are quite similar.

It is pre-curved and you can make a fist and clench without any extra effort. However, the funny thing is that different oz. gloves have different air regulating features. For example, 8 oz. and 10 oz. gloves have mesh and 12 oz. and 14 oz. boxing gloves have holes. And I really don’t understand the reasoning behind this. If you do please let me know in the comment section.the latest arrival

With that being said, I have experiences with this padding type and the memory will not get worse for a long time. This is something to consider if you think of focusing on bag work because this padding type (impact foam) can withstand bigger impacts better during heavy bag sessions.

KSUNSEVEN Tie Up Style

This pair is one of the latest releases. When I look at the pictures, even though the boxing gloves look really stylish, the construction seems like that it is not worth the money. The mesh looks really cheap and the palm compartment is made of some kind of plastic. After realizing that, I really wondered about the company as it seems like that they literally don’t know what they are doing. So I did a research however, I just found out that this company produces glasses.

Shortly, there are pretty huge reasons to stay away from this particular glove.

But hey what do I know maybe it is good. After all, I have not punched with it. With that being said, it has a lot of really awesome designs including the USA flag and has a lot of colors including pink, green, and blue.

Title Boxing American Heart Association

This glove has a solid construction and is made of genuine leather. It is different than the other Title Boxing Gloves which are made of genuine leather. The leather is thicker than the most and the glove has more equal padding distribution.

With that being said, Title worked with the American Heart Association for this glove and 10% of the sales go to this association so they can continue making the world a better place. Is not this really awesome? So this benefits so many people who actually need it. Thus I hope that we will continue seeing collaborations like this in the future.

This glove can be used for any kind of bag work and even though I only read a couple of feedback, these say that it is a proper bag glove which provides decent punching performance and has a solid, thick wrist closure.

Tworiwer Boxing Gloves

Tworiwer produces various boxing headgears and gloves. These have all the necessary design for protection and the interesting thing is that many people in the boxing industry seem to support this fairly new brand. I really did not understand why this is the case but I see that pretty big names suggest this glove to people in boxing classes. There is even a local gym (Tigermind) in Bangkok and the trainers, who work in that gym, think of buying these gloves. Anyway, based on my readings, these gloves are made of fairly low-quality materials. For example, one of these materials is polyurethane leather and it uses the molding technique which is commonly used in gloves which have more affordable price tags. Both of these have low-quality so considering my experiences, I bet that it will tear apart the in first six months.one of the hottest releases

The shape is similar to RDX and the colors look in harmony as well.

These are the recently released gloves and brief explanations of these. Honestly, I know the fact that some of these gloves will just suck as some of the companies are not even boxing or martial arts companies. Some of these even have not produced a single glove. With that being said there are good ones like Hayabusa T3.

So, do your research well. Because you may invest hundreds of dollars for boxing gloves which will jeopardize your physical health. Also, you will read wonderful reviews by the people, who are paid to advertise these gloves, during this period. So take it with a grain of salt.

If you have been following the boxing industry for a decade like I have been, you know that there are always some new boxing gloves which come to the market. So I will update this writing when I see fit so you can see the hottest releases in the future. So bookmark the page so you can see the latest boxing gloves in the future.

  1. Hi!

I’ve been looking for a good pair of gloves for getting back into bag work and training.

I noticed that you prefer the Hayabusa T3. I will look over your review of them and see if I have any questions about it. But before I go…

I’m kind of leaning towards the American Heart Association ones because they give part of the profits to the association. Do you know if they make them in women’s sizes?

Good review of some of the newer gloves out there. Some of these brands I’ve never heard of before. I also noticed you mention Muay Thai a bunch. Is that the school you study?

    Thanks for sharing this post!
    Tina

    1. Muay Thai is other martial arts and after you get back to boxing I am sure that you will hear it way more often. You can check out Hayabusa T3 and I think you will be pleased with it. American Heart Association seems alright, too.

There is not a thing as women’s size. You need to look weight info or hand circumference information. So check out the sizing information of that particular glove and you are ready to go. These brands tend to have good fitting reviews so even though these gloves are new I think these will fit well.

  2. Wow! I did not realize that there are so many choices out there. This is so helpful, my nephew is in the boxing field and will definitely have him check your website and subscribe for newsletters! I surely will too! Thank you!

    1. I don’t offer newsletter yet but if I do in the future, I will be glad to send e-mails. He needs to make sure to tell him that he should check out the boxing gloves’ qualities and decide according to his needs.

  3. Hi,
This is a great post on boxing gloves.
Although I don’t box myself, I have a 19 yr old son who does boxing and kickboxing so I will definitely be pointing him towards your website to take a look.
There looks like some great gloves you have listed.
I have recently just returned from 4 weeks in Thailand and although I didn’t visit Lumpinee stadium this time, I have been there before as well as a few other Muay Thai stadiums in different parts of Thailand.
    Thanks for this informative post.
    Best wishes,
    Michael.

    1. Hey Michael, how was your trip?

Yeah, I mean when people come to Thailand they just need to see these amazing stadiums and watch a couple of Muay Thai fights. Watching these matches closely is fun and also provides many advantages.
I don’t know about kickboxing but if he reads this page he can find a quality pair for himself.
